New piece of equipment

New lighting challenge. I'm using an Cactus KF36 fully manual flash with mechanical zoom head. As an cheap flash I bought it mainly for off-camera usage because it is quiet difficult, bulky and complex to use on camera. So for on camera flash I wanted a flash which contains a big amount of functionality, power and style in a modestly priced and sized body. I've decided to buy it the Canon Speedlite 430EX II. Mostly because of the price and because I didn't find a reason for needing the 580EX II's extra features except the white bounce card but I can live without that.

I love the AF assist light feature which is pretty useful especially for dark places where focus subject can't be found.

I still haven't a good chance to try it on camera, but I can tell that I've used it for my previous post off-camera and I'm satisfied with it.
